Digital Storytelling

Empowering voices through connected knowledge.

Humanities.app is a platform designed for researchers, educators, and storytellers to build immersive digital exhibits without the complexity of traditional web development.

A Decade in the Making

The origins of Humanities.app trace back to the early 2010s, born within the halls of academic research labs. Originally conceived as a way to handle complex multimedia datasets for historians, the project has evolved through multiple iterations—each one focusing on making the technology more invisible so the stories could shine.

What began as a specialized tool for university classrooms gradually transformed into a robust, open-access platform used by museums, non-profits, and individual researchers worldwide.
