1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Humanities.app platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. User Content & Ownership

You own your work. Users retain all ownership and intellectual property rights to the content they upload, create, or share through Humanities.app. We do not claim any ownership over your data, and we do not use your content for any purposes outside of providing the service directly to you and your authorized collaborators.

By uploading content, you grant Humanities.app a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content solely as necessary to operate the platform on your behalf.

3. Data Portability & Deletion

Your data is yours to keep or destroy. You may download your site content and assets using our export tools at any time. Furthermore, you have the right to delete your content or your entire account at any time. Upon deletion, your data will be removed from our active databases in accordance with our data retention policy.

4. Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

No AI training without consent. Humanities.app does not use your uploaded work, research, or metadata to train artificial intelligence (AI) models or machine learning algorithms. We will never use your data for such purposes without your explicit, affirmative opt-in consent.

5. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use Humanities.app to upload or share content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. You also agree not to disrupt or interfere with the platform's operation or security.

6. Limitation of Liability

Humanities.app is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. In no event shall Humanities.app or its affiliates be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the platform.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any changes by posting the new Terms of Use on this site.
